“Les Misérables” by Victor Hugo

Here is one of the very few books on the list that is not about business or self-improvement.

Well, at least initially I don’t assume Victor Hugo had those goals in mind, but I believe there is still a lot to learn from the book.

For example, how to live for others and forgive like Jean Valjean or Bishop Myriel.

I believe it is also worth to read the book to compare it to the movie with Hugh Jackman and to the musical theatre hit. Both allow us to appreciate the story, thanks to the beautiful songs, yet still, they are missing a lot from the plot.
